Father Iden José Bello Miquilena was born in Coro, Venezuela on June 13, 1979. He is the youngest of nine children, eight boys and one girl. He studied Philosophy at the Seminario San Ignacio de Antioquía in Coro Venezuela and Theology at The Santa Rosa Seminary in Caracas, Venezuela. Father Bello was ordained to the priesthood on April 9th 2005 at San Agustin Cathedral. After his ordination, he was assigned as parochial vicar of Nuestra Señora del Rosario from 2005 to 2009. After his first assignment he was sent to study Canon Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C and named vocation Director for the Diocese of Laredo from 2009-2016. Lastly, Father Iden was assigned to be the Rector of San Agustin Cathedral from 2016 to the present. In addition to his parochial duties, Father Iden is the Judicial Vicar of the Diocese of Laredo and member of the Priest Personnel Board.

Father Jose Luis Restrepo Prisco was born on January 14, 1997, in Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia. He comes from a Catholic family and is the oldest of two sons. Fr. Restrepo pursued his philosophical studies at the Santo Tomás de Aquino Seminary in Colombia. He attended Assumption Seminary and the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, Texas, USA, where he completed his theological studies and priestly formation. On November 26, 2022, Father Restrepo was ordained to the priesthood by Bishop James A. Tamayo. Since his ordination, he has been serving as the parochial vicar of San Agustin Cathedral. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities at the cathedral, Father Restrepo is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Sacred Scriptures at the University of Saint Thomas in Houston.
